We obtain our lawns via a local turf supplier who is able to cater for all our clients needs. All the turf we lay is freshly cut and delivered, normally being laid within 48 hrs of being lifted from the field it is grown in.
As with anything in life it is the preparation of the ground that is essential. From the seeding of utility land to perfect garden lawn, we are able to ensure that the lawn is given the best preparation to ensure the best finish of the lawn. In many instances we use sandy loam soil from the same fields where the turf is grown. This enables us to screed the lawns totally flat ready to receive the new turf.
As with any living product, it is essential it receives the correct care and maintenance. We are always happy to give advice regarding this.
We are also able to design and install land drainage solutions to help alleviate problems with wet gardens with poor drainage.
Another aspect of lawns that is becoming increasingly popular is the artificial lawn. Advances in materials and manufacturing have meant that the quality of these lawns has moved on in leaps and bounds. They offer a maintenance free alternative to the lawn, which can be used all year round and is ideal where there is heavy traffic from animals. We can provide samples of lawns and a full installation service for them. You may be surprised by how good they look.
